This is an exceptionally nice gem proof 1861 Seated Liberty Dollar certified PCGS PR65. The surfaces are flawless and the strike is full and complete. The devices on the obverse and reverse contrast with the mirrored fields, and both sides exhibit vibrant orange toning when held under a light source. Gem proof 1861 seated dollars are rarely offered for sale. PCGS has certified just 3 at this level, with 6 finer.
