1870's Antique French Mantel Clock Marble Slate Working Great with Candelabras - $525 - (Marthasville, MO)
A beautiful matching French set with a fully functioning clock. First, both candelabras stand on brass feet and are 16.5" tall with 4"by 3" marble bases. They are pristine with no marks or breaks, excellent condition. The clock measures 17.5" tall, 8.5" wide and 5" deep. This clock looks, sounds and performs great. The Belgium marble case is in very good condition with no breaks, repairs or cracks. The brass feet are solid and there are very few chips on any of the edges. The case hardware, including the topper, are in excellent condition. The 3.5" porcelain dial is in excellent condition and so is the 4.5" bezel and bevelled glass. The 8 day brass movement is clean and works correctly. The movement is marked 156 06 C 44. The movement strikes on a nickel alloy bell every half and full hour. The strikes are highly resonating. Fully serviced, comes with its original French winding keys, an extra and its adjustable pendulum. This set is complete and matching. Reasonably priced, expect many years of service from this high quality 145 year old French set. The set will be carefully packed in two separate boxes to ensure safe delivery.
