Antique Toy Cast Iron Cannon 12" Overall Good Condition Original Paint - $500 - (South Portland, ME)

This is a cast iron toy artillery cannon that measures about 12-1/4 inches long overall and weighs 3-3/4 pounds.  It is not marked and I was unable to find another exactly like it on the internet so I don't know the maker, though some similar ones were attributed to Ives.  This does have a lot of its original paint still intact.  The axle has a bend, and extends beyond the wheel hubs but the wheels do not come off.  The bore does extend to the touch hole.  There is a bit of paper down inside that should be easy to remove.  This is very well cast, so it probably dates to the turn of the century (or late 1800's if it really is by Ives).
