Vintage, 1950's era, cotton Butterfly quilt top appliqued by hand. Came from an Iowa estate auction Scroll down for pictures Sashing is a solid apricot color cotton. Butterflies are in 1950's era cotton prints and appliqued with a feather stitch by hand. Embroidery work was done by hand as well. Quilt top was assembled by machine. Apricot borders as well as sashing. No problems to report. Quilt top has never been used or laundered. Fabric is crispy and fresh. Just wrinkled.
