This 93 page softbound booklet was written by PK McBride and published by COLLINS MICROSOFTWARE for use with the TI-99/4a Home Computer. This Pack is the first of two that demonstrate the techniques and ideas needed for writing a wide variety of games in TI BASIC. Pack 1 mainly deals with guessing games, on-screen action, and maze-based adventure games. The programs included with this book are working diagrams that demonstrate techniques in the simplest possible ways. These can be taken over by you and converted into fully fledged games if you wish. Other programs are examples of the types of games that can be written in TI BASIC using the ideas in the book. No special equipment is needed for this progamming, just a TV/monitor, the TI99, a cassette recorder or disk drive memory system, lots of paper, and plenty of ideas. A printer is helpful in sorting out long programs and the TI EXTENDED BASIC cartridge would be a help, but neither are needed to run these programs or to be a GAMEWRITER!
