HARCOURT DECANTER Clear crystal The Harcourt collection, the oldest in the Baccarat archive, is reputed for its iconic design. Since its creation in 1841, the storied and elegant Harcourt stemware has been selected by Pope John-Paul II, the Queen of Thailand, the King of Morocco, and many other important figures. This clear crystal Harcourt wine decanter has an exquisite silhouette. Baccarat’s craftsmanship is apparent from every angle, as the architectural form creates extra visual depth. The classical shape has a multifaceted base and refined beveled cuts. The diamond-cut stopper crowns the decanter with sophistication. The Harcourt decanter shown here is a Jeroboam (Double Magnum) which holds approximately four bottles of wine ~ 3.0 Litres; measuring 17 inches in height from the base to the stopper. It is a limited edition item of 150 Jeroboam decanters crafted by Baccarat in 1975 commemorating the 150th anniversary of Harcourt. This decanter is number 77 of 150 in the collection. It is in excellent condition. Majestic, elegant, and exquisite, of all Baccarat, this is a very rare collectible item.
