Up for sale is an original Griffith M. Hopkins Atlas Plat Map of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 1900. It covers the Boro of Duquesne area and includes the Carnegie Library and Carnegie Steel Company. The map measures 23 x 28.5 and is in NEAR MINT condition. Map is on thick stock paper and would look fantastic framed! Plate 19: covers from the South Eastern Vicinity of Pittsburgh to the Monongahela River and from Victor St. to the Carnegie Steel Co. Each color represents a different type of building: Pink = Brick or Stone Buildings, Yellow = Frame Buildings, Yellow with an X = Stables & Sheds, Pink I.B. = Iron Buildings, Yellow I.B. = Iron Clad Buildings. See key on each map for what all symbols indicate. I am selling my collection of rare maps.
