Up for auction today is a Gibson L-5 Archtop Quilted Maple Blonde beauty. I purchased this beautiful piece at an estate sale. I am unable to verify the exact date made due to the label peeling from age and only leaving the style L5 visible. I have spoken with multiple music store pros and they have all determined that it's from between 1952 and 1955. I am aware that the tuners have been replaced.
