vintage PHILCO Kitchen Portable Televsion Set RARE Red White Ameoba Design WORKS - $300 - (Meshoppen, PA)
Here is an extremely rare early 1960's Philco Portable Kitchen Television with a great red, black and white amoeba design to the front panel. The first pic shows the screen when on, second pic is off. When I plugged it in, it was in the on position, I tried to turn the switch to off, and it fell inside the case, you can see the opening in the upper right on the front. I don't know why, but it did. The case is in very good condition as you can see in the pics, with light use marks. it does need a fine detail cleaning, I just gave it a quick wipe down. This is a set that I have never seen before, and will look great in a vintage kitchen. Due to the on/off switch issue, I am selling this as-is, but it is a very nice set, and with a little work you can have a fantastic TV. This is a recent estate find here in the beautiful Endless Mountains region of Northeast PA and has not been offered on the second hand market before now, so don't miss your chance.
