Very old pine beams/headers from a feedmill/granary built in Portage, Wi in 1861 by George Wentworth. Since then has been variously named Sunnyside Feedmill and Canal Seed and Feed. This building was demolished in the winter of 2016 to make way for county building project. These were the headers that sat atop the upright beams holding up the whole building. Believed to be white or yellow pine from Minnesota. They measure 6' long X 12" wide X 7" thick, would make marvelous, massive fireplace mantles. Estimated age of 250+ years.
