This is a wonderful evergreen discovered in 18th century by Scot botanist John Fraser in the southern region of the Appalachian mountains. In a lot of ways the Fraser Fir and the Balsam Fir are the same tree grown in different regions in the country. The Fraser fir is a favorite for Christmas tree growers, because of its good needle holding ability and the upward growth habit of the branches. This conifer has a relatively slow growth rate. Making it ideal for a Christmas tree or an ornamental planting. We will ship this plant bare root with sterile soil in ordinance with state and shipping laws.
