It has hundreds of other uses limited only by your imagination. It can be printed, dyed, cut, folded, perforated, painted and written on. It can resist repeated folding and flexing without tearing and can also be glued, laminated, sewn, stapled, embossed, foil stamped, stitched, welded and heat sealed. Special price. Corona treatment improves ink and coating adhesion by increasing surface wettability to inks, coatings and adhesives and can last for up to 20 years. UV treatment is for outdoor exposure and can last four to six months, possibly even a year. It is also antistatic treated to reduce static during handling. It is one of the most whitest materials available for printing and can be printed using most commercial printing processes. Printable with offset or screen techniques and almost all common printing techniques except for hot laser and photocopying. Tyvek can be easily printed with screen, offset, UV inkjet, thermal transfer, digital (some), inkjet (coated styles), Flexo, HP Indigo and Letterpress printing processes. It can be printed using ink jet printers but Dupont recommends using OEM inks and using the coated sheets for most ink jet printing. 1056D is uncoated. This ultra light, extremely versatile and breathable fabric is lightweight; strong; water resistant; rot, mold and mildew resistant; tear resistant; fade and UV resistant.
