Refurbished about 1980 with new hammers, dampers, strings and felts, this 1925 Starck baby grand piano may be the showcase piano you're looking for. It holds a tuning remarkably well, much better than many new pianos, a testimony to the initial quality of wood and craftsmanship. The soundboard is in perfect condition; the tone quality is very clean and full, not metallic and thin as in some baby grands.
