Vintage Primitive 18" Navajo Native American Indian Cloth Doll ~ Hand Sewn 1920's A fantastic vintage Navajo Native American Indian child's doll. Believed to be from the early 1920's. I was told that this doll is Navajo from the niece of the original doll collector. Her Aunt passed but she kept many of the collection. All cloth, mostly wool and all hand sewn. This doll was made for a child in the tribe so loved and played with. The face is sewn with black eyes and red mouth. The red head band is miss placed as is her hair. Red wool pants with black soft shoes with yarn stitching. Nice accessories such as early brass split pins down both sides of the green wool jacket. A single hammered concho pendant.
