This foot allows the insertion of a zip such that it is virtually invisible." This foot fits "New Style" Bernina machines which is pretty much any machine released after 1996. "New Style" feet are characterized by a squared back that has a notch in it (where the foot attaches to the machine). New style feet usually have red numbering along with a red hatched square. If this describes the other feet that you have then your machine uses the new style feet.
