BEAUTIFUL PERSIAN ISFAHAN / ISPAHAN RUG_WOOL & SILK_5.1 x 7.8_AMOUNG THE FINEST OF RUGS A very finely woven rug of about 500-600 KPSI. This rug was given to me by my Persian partner of 30 years. Was in his family's collection before mine. A great, great rug!!! This rug along with the Tabriz I have were of his family's best rugs. The foundation is silk and the pile is wool with fine silk highlights. Rug is about 25-30 years old. Hand woven in the finest rug capital of the world. Renown for its quality. Shows very little wear. Rich and colorful. The newer Ispahan's will have the brighter colors while the antique ones will be of muted dyes. We also have an antique one listed that is very nice.
