Nice vintage Buescher True -Tone circa 1930 Gold plated Alto here. Serial number 232672 Needs a good re-pad and adjustment to get it into playable condition. This horn has NO "old horn" odor. A big plus IMHI. Body and neck are relatively dent free (just a few tiny pings here and there). No pull down on the neck or bent areas on the body. Has the original end plug (upper octave lever protector) and domed pad snaps. Blued steel key springs all in place and in good condition with little or no signs of rust. Keys in nice unbent solid condition. Gold plating is a bit rough showing lite spotting on much of the surface. Also many of the touch and contact points show ware. I also see one guard foot that has been re-soldered. (See Pics) All in all and good prospect for a rehab and should be a very fine playing and valuable vintage Saxophone after the work is done. Comes with the original Buescher hard wood case that is, amazingly, still in usable (not stinky!) condition. Has a nice soft but sturdy leather replacement handle and some one has re-taped the edges. It has great interior padding reminiscent of a comfy sofa. Again very usable and I stress NOT STINKY. Buy it now....Just $449.00! Thanks for bidding...tt.
