1958 1959 1960 Original vintage “burst” Les Paul Standard brown Lifton guitar case! Here's a rare one. An all original 1958 to 1960 LP Standard 5-Latch “burst” case. And it’s in sweet condition. Just a few nicks and some edge wear. Been in our family's closet a long time (no idea where the guitar went). Check it out: brass hinges, brown leatherette covering, pink plush lining, case pocket, and inside an original set of vintage Gibson guitar strings, too. Even better, this is the correct 5-latch case - don’t confuse with the less-rare 4-latch brown case, which was earlier. Only the 5-latch brown case is correct for those magical guitar years of ‘58, ‘59, & ‘60. If you have a “burst”, or a nice reissue, this is the case you want, to show off your guitar in original style. Not only fits LP Standards, but LP Specials and Jrs too. Best of all, every other 5-latch case I’ve seen was close to $3,000 to $5,000. I’ve priced this one to sell, and no jive, it's a steal at $2,200. $2,200 OBO
