Very Clean Original Vintage 1965 Harmony H-47 Mercury Stratotone & Original Case - $895 - (Akron, OH)

Here’s an Original Vintage 1965 Harmony H-47 Mercury Stratotone Electric Guitar with a DeArmond “S-Grill” pickup. This was the last year that Harmony made the H-47, and it's become one of the more desirable and collectable guitars that Harmony built. This is a great sounding and playing guitar. The pickup sounds strong, the switch and controls are all working properly with no static or buzzing. The action is very clean on every note from one end of the fretboard to the other, with no string buzzing, and room to adjust the string height in both directions. The adjustable neck is straight, and the frets show almost no visible wear, with plenty of life left in them. The neck and body are solid with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. This is one that doesn’t have a lot of the typical wear marks that you would expect to see on a guitar this old, and has obviously spent most of its life in the case. Included is the original case.
