Antique Vintage Vacuum Pump Central Scientific Co. with Glass & No Cenco DE Complete complete with original glass Large, working Central Scientific Co. vacuum pump. Mahogany base board on turned mahogany feet, with a turned column for the iron pump arm and a 2" brass piston casing. Approximate dimensions are 30 in. high x 24 in. wide x 10 in. deep. with an 11 in. cast iron plate. Signed on a brass tag, "Central Scientific Co., Laboratory Apparatus, Chicago, USA". My research (though please check for yourself) indicates that without the Cenco logo on the brass tag this pump was made prior to 1918. The quality of workmanship also suggests that age. This great pump ships to the lower 48 States only via UPS ground. I will remove the mast and plunger for shipping. Local pick up is always free. Look at my other items.
