THIS IS A VINTAGE USED ITEM,WHAT ALL YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS IS WHAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON... *NO CLUE TO ITEM'S AGE,ARTISAN OR ORIGIN* THE HAND CARVED AND PAINTED TOTEM POLE STANDS APX. 45" TALL,4.50" DIAMETER. THE A C 28 MAY POSSIBLY BE THE ARTISAN'S INITIALS AND DATE CREATED? NOT SURE OF THE TYPE OF WOOD USED BUT IT IS VERY DENSE AND HEAVY. THERE IS AN AREA ON THE SNAKES BODY WHERE WOOD IS MISSING AND OLD BRADS ARE EXPOSED. THE BACKSIDE HAS A NATURAL CHECK (SPLIT) THAT EXTENDS THE ENTIRE LENGHT. THE POLE HAS AGE/USAGE WEAR,SCUFFS,NICKS,CHECKS,ETC.,ALL WHICH ADD TO THE NICE PATINA PRESENT. THE TOTEM POLE IS IN OVERALL GOOD USED CONDITION & DISPLAYS WELL.
