Minelab GPX Handle Switch and Cable Assembly Replacement This is a replacement for the ground balance switch and cable assembly in the handle on the Minelab GPX series and the GP3500. If your switch has failed save a bit and just replace the switch assembly with an improved switch and cable assembly. Rather than a whole expensive handle. I will handcraft it using a heavier duty over molded cable from the same vendor that makes the connector for Minelab. The connector is the one that mates with the smartpoint on the control box. It is Quality German made and has 3 gold plated pins. The switch used will be green and be similar to the original. The whole assembly can be removed and replaced from the handle using just your hands, no tools needed. Typically these match the original specs, but I can make the cable longer or shorter as you prefer. Such as for a chest mount, cart, etc... Makes for a great small and easy to carry spare. Cables are the most likely failure point in the field. Also if you wish to add a ground balance switch or "Gold Button" as some call them to a SD2200, GP Extreme or GP3000 this is a great choice. Use your existing handle. Add a Smart Point connector that matches the GPX machines. I can handcraft that cable assembly for you too.
