Offering a set of vintage embossed green majolica 6 1/16" x 4 1/16" tiles manufactured by R S Morris Company in Stoke-on-Trent, England. These are vintage used tiles, some tiles may have old grout attached. All tiles are marked on the back "R. S. MORRIS STOKE ON TRENT". Beautiful tiles with high relief and transparent glaze. Some crazing consistent with age. This set includes 20 tiles in excellent good vintage condition and 9 tiles with minor damage. Please see photographs. R S Morris was a small business operating in Stoke-on-Trent in the 1930s and 1940s, making fireplace tiles. They may have inherited some of the moulds from Maw and Co as a few of their relief moulded tiles are identical to some of Maw's tiles. We will combine shipping when possible.
