26" German HEINRICH HANDWERCK SIMON HALBIG Antique Bisque Head Composition Doll - $1,450 - (Cortland, OH)
Pictured above is a nice and hard to find Antique German 26" HEINRICH HANDWERCK SIMON & HALBIG bisque head doll. She has always been in our family and very well kept. I took charge of her in the 1970's and have kept her safe and never out of the box. She still has her original clothes and I removed them for the photos. She will be shipping unclothed and all clothing shown will be carefully packed separately. The condition is Very Good with the only flaw that I can see is the top of the second toe on the left foot as shown in the photos (this might have been a flaw in the mold). There have been no repairs or restoration. There is one eyelash and the wig is glued on. All the joints work fine and are tight. The eyes open and close easily. Everything appears to be original. The box is in fair condition and shows its age with a split in one corner and the lid's flaps are missing (pretty hard to find an original box with an antique doll). All the clothing in the photo came off this doll and I don't think they have ever been removed until I took them off for the pictures. I have attached lots of photos for your inspection and can add more if you need them. There is nothing to hide here so if you would like more information, just ask. The doll will be safely packed with lots of padding and insurance will be added. Thanks for looking.
