Click image to enlarge An ornate antique cast iron sewing machine base in great condition from the Singer Sewing Machine Manufacturing Company circa 1890. Its made with the old heavy cast iron and has fancy decorative touches typical of that period all over. The treadle drives the flywheel easily, there are mounting holes in the top and it has a neat porcelain wheel system that is engaged and disengaged using a small pedal. It measures 28" tall, 21 1/4" long, 19" wide and weighs about 50 lbs. Base will be shipped fully assembled as pictured.
