Vintage Boudoir Doll Black and Red Dress - $72 - (Hartshorne, OK)
Isn't she lovely?? She measures 30" in length and her width is approximately 7" across the shoulders. Her body underneath the dress is made of cloth, though I am unsure of what material makes up the rest of her...it is hard to the touch and has a plastered appearance. She has a beautifully unique hand painted face. Her dress is made of a thin, gauze like material accented with lace and sating ribbons. There are two small buttons at the top of her collar. The dress is in very good condition for the age of this item, though there are some signs of wear such as small holes here and there. It appears that her dress wasn't adequately tailored to fit her frame as it has been adjusted and pinned in the back as noted in the photos Her hair is a wig and does show a great deal of wear, as noted in the photographs. So unique in every way and ready to find her forever home!
