Sweet Pit Bull found near UVA - N.A. - (Charlottesville, VA)

Hello! We found a dog and we are hoping to help the owner find her. She is a white and tan pit pull-- extremely friendly. We found her near Cavalier Court Apartments (on Maury AVE and Stadium RD in Charlottesville, VA). She was wearing a light pink collar and she had a leash on, but it was chewed through. There were no tags. The police took her to the Albemarle / Charlottesville SPCA (434-973-5959). The report number is C2017-06719 (the non-emergency police number is 434-970-3280). She was as sweet as can be and I really hope that she finds her owner! Thank you so much for any help you can provide for connecting the owner with this information!
