One more round of fresh-to-ebay antique cast iron, tin and steel toys tonight before taking a couple months off from selling. This cast iron antique toy is a double HAY BARN made by Grey Iron in Mount Joy, PA. As far as I know in 30 years of collecting, this is the only known example of the double hay barn. I have seen a handfull of the single barns, but not another double. This is an interesting toy that you have to assemble the parts. Each barn is made of 4 walls, a door, and a roof. To make the double barn, you add the upper sections and set the roofs on top. Each roof section measures 7" x 3.5". This toy is in excellent original condition with all the parts and approximately 85% of the original paint. It assembles one way and one way only. There are no breaks, cracks, repairs or repaint.
