One more round of fresh-to-ebay antique cast iron, tin and steel toys tonight before taking a couple months off from selling. This cast iron antique toy is a PROTOTYPE that was never produced. This toy was found in the Dent Factory after it was closed. The toy is one of 2 known to exist and both came from the factory archives. This truck is a multiple part toy like the nickel grilles of the time. The truck has a separate grille, fenders and two halves to the upper body. It looks like an early Federal Truck to me. The toy measures 5.5 inches in length and was never painted. As the front photo shows, part of the bumper has damage. Selling as a buy it now or best offer only.
