Exquisite, vintage 30's - 40's throw quilt. Pink satin surrounds the inset of taffeta satin, covered in pink roses on cream white. The backside is cotton. This a quilt from France, in the eiderdown style, but this one is most likely wool filled. Heavy weight. Very nice condition. Fabric is strong, and I see no holes or stains. This is more the size for a chaise throw in the US. While in France it would be used as a bed topper. It is truly stunning, and the colors are pretty accurate in my monitor.
