Replogle Diplomat Illuminated 32 Inch Floor World Globe - Blue Ocean - $9,500 - (Malibu, CA)

This Replogle floor globe is functional art. In the words of Replogle: "The Diplomat floor standing globe features a 32" blue ocean illuminated globe with hand cut and applied map. Over 20,000 political map named places and points of interest, making it the worlds most detailed globe in production. Includes solid brass engraved meridian. Mounted on a walnut finish solid mahagony wood stand with cradel mount full meridian. Overall size is approximately 51"h x 40"w x 40"d." The globe was well housed in a university library for many years. It is in great condition, and dated from the early 1980s (still showing USSR). The bulb and/or wires will need to be replaced.
