He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts* from 1916 to 1921; at the Chicago Art Institute* in 1922; and in New York City at the American Academy of the Fine Arts* in 1946.  Member:Society of Animal Artists. Exhibited: Ill.State Fair Prof. Art Exhib.Springfield, Ill.1955-58; Findlay Galleries,Chicago; Abercrombie & Fitch Co.,Chicago, Ill.;National Artists Exhib.,Ill.State Museum, Springfield,1967; others. His work can be found at the American Saddle Horse Museum in Lexington, KY. Michigan City Public Library His specialty was paintings dogs and horses.
