VTG Reclaimed Wood TRIVET-Country Folk Art Decor-Hand Painted-Bird-Pink Flowers - $6 - (Groesbeck, TX)
This vintage wooden trivet lost the center piece, long ago and came from my Aunt's Antiques & Collectible Shop when opened from the 70's to early 90's. So not to throw away the wood trivet I decided to paint, in acrylic, a Red Robin sitting on a branch with a cherry in his beak among the pink blossoming cherry tree. Thought this might be a nice accent to any kitchen or home decor. Measures about 7" Diameter x 11" Long. The trivet is sealed from moisture and fading. Has a wire hanger with a deep yellow vintage ribbon and is signed Teresa. Does have some imperfections in the wood and to expected in reclaimed wood. Please see photos for further inspection.
