1818 Marriage Bond, State of Virginia - nice early American document! - $25 - (Nunda, NY)

This document is a marriage bond obtained by William Beech and his soon to be father-in-law Ephraim Eckler for $150 in June of 1818 from Virginia Governor James P Preston. Such documents were required at the time - the money would be refunded to them once the wedding took place. The document is in very good shape with what appears to be original signatures. There are very light folds.
