RARE Cassius Marcellus Clay Collection Richmond Madison Whitehall Kentucky I tried to collect memorabilia from Cassius Clay because he was a very intriguing man from my hometown.  It is very to find this stuff and this is the fruits of a thirty-year endeavor.  It is all original and authentic.   This lot includes an Original Matthew Brady CDV of Clay, which is also signed by Clay There are 2 note cards.  The first is from hand written from Whitehall Kentucky February 5, 1890 "I can not assist" then signature signed   The other simply says "very truly CM Clay 1886"  The final item is a hand made and chaises coin silver "bourbon" bottle tag.  I purchased at an estate sale very close to the Clay estate and the auctioneer stated that it was from Clay's estate.  It is engraved Clay on the reverse.  The decanter is not original to the collection.
