Dynaco SCA 35 Stereo Tube Integrated Amplifier Completely Rebuilt with new tubes - $695 - (Bellingham, WA)
Completely rebuilt Dynaco SCA 35 up for sale using a complete set of David Gillespies excellent replacement boards. I decided to completely replace all of the boards in this little amp rather than try to rework the originals as it would result in EVERY component being refreshed and eliminate the possibility of damage to the traces on the existing boards. I then installed a brand new matched quad of Sovtek tubes and new production Mullard 12AX7s. The two 6U8A's are NOS and with David's boards eliminate the need for now expensive and out of production 7199 tubes. In short this amp is playing beautiful music and will be doing so for years to come. Please keep in mind these boards result in a much better performing amp than simply repairing the existing boards. Here is Davids description of the power supply board; Much more than just a replacement for the original twist-lock cans, our capacitor EFB™ board also replaces all the resistors and rectifier diodes associated with the power supply. Significantly larger overall capacitance and 105 degree rated components are specified that far exceed the originals in quality and reliability.
