One owner, not used for a number of years. Fully tested, working great - sounds bigger than the rated power. Original Owner's Manual is included. As one owner said in an online forum: "The 1600 is a Leach design and although it's rated at 125 watts per channel into 8 Ohms, it's closer to 150. It is 4 ohm stable and is an excellent sounding amplifier that does not color the source." Another owner said in an Audiogon forum: "I've heard a lot of more costly amps that don't TOUCH this thing. Images float in space, it's very linear and uncolored, and musically it fleshes things out very well." It is normal to find nice vintage amps like this one available online, but in checking around for the Heathkit AA1600 we found a number of people asking if anyone knew where they could find one!
