Pair of hand-crafted, German-designed tube monoblock power amplifiers by one of the top audio engineers in Europe. Manufactured by Brocksieper Audio in Germany and sold under the Trimax name by Audio Advancements in Lincoln Park, New Jersey a number of years ago. These amps utilize the 807 output tube. There is an elaborate discussion regarding the 807 tube and the audio characteristics of these amplifiers, which look to be an earlier version of the current Brocksieper LC807. According to the designer, these amps combine the warmth and fluidity of tubes with the accuracy and detail of a fine solid state amplifier. These are small-batch, world-class audio products. Both units were thoroughly serviced and adjusted by a professional tech in Montpelier Vermont in November 2016. They have NOS RCA 807 tubes and are ready to plug and play. Sounded incredible when matched with a McIntosh C-22 preamp and Jensen Sigma SG-300 speakers. From what I can gather online, original list price for this pair as offered by Audio Advancements was approximately $5,500. - I do not know what a new pair of LC807 would cost. Output is approximately 25 watts into 8 ohms. Perfect for efficient speakers or in a bi-amp setup. Will be carefully packed and shipped. Thank you and enjoy.
