PAIR DECO CARVED ALABASTER COCKATOO BOOK ENDS W/ GLASS EYES - $60 - (Downingtown, PA)

A pair of alabaster book ends each with a full figure cockatoo with black beak perched on top of an arched alabaster block. Each bird measures 4 1/2 inches long and approximately 1 3/4 inches across the back, and 4 1/2 inches high from bottom of block to top of head. Marked on the base "15 Italy 107 / 09". There's a 3/8 inch chip on the end of the tail feathers and a small loss to the crest tip of one bird, and both have a small chip on the beak, and one glass eye is missing from one bird (see photos), otherwise in good condition.
