I paid to have these speakers PROFESSIONALLY REFOAMED by a local store. The owner, who performed the work, has been in business for over 40 years. Needless to say, everything was tested to be in perfect working condition. These speakers sounded fantastic, with excellent low end. Cosmetically, the speakers are in very good condition. There is some exterior wear, including scratches and scuffs. There are a couple of places where the veneer is nicked. The grills are in very good condition, although there are a couple spots where the fabric is fraying. Additionally, there is some dirt to the grills. Overall, excellent pair of speakers in great condition.
