Sound As Clear As Light. That is what these magnificent speakers are. They will handle up to 400 watts of clean clear power. The ESS AMT 1A Monitor has a 12" woofer, 12" passive radiator, and the massive Heil Air-Motion Transformer. The Heil air-motion transformer is the revolutionary mid-range tweeter that, since 1973, has distinguished ESS loudspeakers from all other speakers in the world. This is the flagship of the AMT line with superb performance throughout the full audio range. The ESS AMT 1A Monitor speakers are in very good condition. The woofers and passive radiators have been re-foamed and perform as they should. A new black cloth was made to replace the original cloth. The re-foaming and new cloth were completed in Chicago before I bought them two years ago. This is the first pair of four pair that I own which I will be selling. There are a couple of edge chips. Please look at the pictures. The ESS AMT 1A Monitor speakers weigh 110 lbs each. Their dimensions are: 16" x 16" x 40" It would expensive to ship these fine speakers, so I have decided it will be local pick up only. Thank you and happy bidding.
