1989 USA Carvin DC-125 Guitar - Rare "Jackson Lawsuit Era" Vintage 80s EMG DC125 - $599 - (Wrentham, MA)

This is a rare Carvin DC-125 guitar from the short-lived "pointy headstock" Jackson lawsuit era of 1989. Production was halted after about a year when Jackson threatened legal action because of the similarities in the headstock design. As a result, there aren't too many of these out there these days. This hardtail is all original except for the EMG-81 humbucker. It's made entirely of maple with an ebony fretboard and mother of pearl block inlays. It's in very good condition overall with minor dings/scratches throughout, the worst of which is a ding at the base of the neck heel on the rear (pic 11). There are no structural issues, the neck is straight, the truss rod works well. The frets are in very good shape, the top few show some wear. Some of the hardware shows minor corrosion. The Carvin hardshell case is in excellent condition but the handle is broken.•Bridge Pickup: EMG-81•Bridge: LP6 Adjustable?•Tuners: Carvin 16:1?•Scale: 24-3/4"?•Frets: Jumbo Nickel-Silver This item comes exactly as pictured and ships free within the Contiguous 48 United States. Please contact me if you'd like higher resolution photos or an in-hand description. This item is also available for sale locally. Please see photos and ask any questions before bidding. No returns on items unless condition is not as described. Suspicious bids will be canceled. Thanks for looking!
