This listing is for an antique vintage hickory shaft right handed set of 8 Butchart Nicholls irons. Included are the 1 Iron 37 1/8" long 18* Loft B 0 swingweight, 2 iron 37" 25* B 3, 3 iron 36 5/8" 30* B 0, 5 Mashie Iron 37 1/4" 28* B 4, 5 Mashie 37" 36* C 8, 9 Chip Spade 36 3/8" 46* B 7, 10 Mashie Niblick 34 3/4" 49* B 7 and 8 Niblick 36" 36 1/4" 46* C 4. They are in fair condition. They do have the expected play nicks and dings and the plating shows wear and discoloration. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. All of the shafts (except the 5 Mashie, 8 Niblick and 10 Chip Spade which are hickory) have the patented Butchart real bamboo laminated over a core of hickory. The shafts are generally straight and there is very little delamination to the bamboo. The grips are all old long leather wraps that are in fair to good vintage condition. Interesting group of patented display clubs. Generally light for play. Shipping for this item is calculated via Priority Mail and based on a 10 pound box. The further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way carriers charge. International shipping will also be calculated and will be much higher.
