RARE 1908 Burnett typewriter - $8,000 - (Okemos, MI)

When the typewriter was first introduced, many companies jumped into the business, and many of these businesses were of short duration, such as Burnett. The Burnett typewriter was only manufactured for a few months in 1908 and marketed by Sears Roebuck for $22.95. Very few were ever sold and of those, fewer yet have survived now 100+ years later - making this specimen extremely rare. This typewriter is in totally original, untouched, unrestored condition -- just the way a collector would like to find one.
