Very Rare Vintage 1950's Hasbro BLAST-AWAY Rocket Launching Station Game w/ Box This auction is for a Very Rare Vintage 1950's Hasbro BLAST-AWAY Rocket Launching Station Game w/ Box. As one turns the control wheel, rockets emerge one-by-one from the rocket assembly building and move to the launch pad. Here, a crane assembly holds a rocket in position while a truck fuels it. There is a continuous countdown until the rocket is launched. Game is in pretty good but not perfect shape - one set of stairs and the radar antenna are broken off but included (could be glued). There are three missiles included (2 need tops reattached, but they are not broken). When winding the crank it does seem to stick at points but does go all the way, and does move all parts and then fire the missiles. I think some cardboard targets should be included, but they are not here. Instruction sheet intact. This is a very hard to find early space toy! Being sold As Is. Box is aged and worn, one corner is split, shows edge and corner wear. Colors, graphics, and lettering bright and bold. Some dirt and mildew stains along with yellowing from age on box, game, and instruction sheet. Game may be able to be cleaned. Local pick-up in Kutztown is always available.
