Antique Mermod Freres Cylinder Music Box in Oak Case - $2,500 - (Hermiston, OR)
This is a very nice antique Mermod Freres cylinder musicbox. It has a 10" cylinder and plays 12 tunes. It is in a very pretty Oak case with decorative scrolling on the front. It measure approximately 28" long x 12.25" wide x 8.5" tall. It plays nicely. It is slow to start sometimes as the governor is sticky. There are some marks on the case and the bottom board has a crack. It has the lock and a replacement key.Slight downward pressure is required on the lid to engage and release lock. I believe it could use cleaning and proper servicing, but other then that it is missing no teeth and everything works. PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS!
