Offering these for sale...not quite one of a kind, but close. Provenance is key. Joe Sewell game used cleats. This pair of vintage cleats were worn by Joe Sewell most likely as a member of the Cleveland Indians, but I can't rule out having been worn by him with the Yankees in the early 1930s either. What makes these special is the amazing letter of provenance written by Joe Sewell himself where he actually references the cleats. Truly remarkable when you consider the number of items that don't have any sort of player provenance. In addition to the letter, I also have the box Joe used to mail them to the previous owner. There was a signed rookie pair that sold at auction a few years ago though Heritage for around $2k with buyer's premium. These are very similar in style.
