Yoga + Mindfulness + Happy Hour 6 Fridays @ 7pm. February 10 - March 17. Rochester Athletic Club. Would you like to develop a greater sense of peace and equanimity in your day to day life? Are you challenged by stress, anxiety, depression, or difficulty focusing? Do you want to decrease reactivity and more skillfully control impulses that do not serve you? Mindfulness practice can help. Mindful yoga has been associated with greater increases in psychological well-being than mindfulness meditation alone, or body scan meditation alone.* In Yoga + Mindfulness, you will learn yoga postures and meditation techniques to help build awareness of your physical sensations and stream of thoughts which will help you connect to the present moment, reduce stress, and develop resilience. Previous participants have taken Yoga for Mindfulness to help with depression and anxiety, anger and stress management, personal growth, and to increase their overall sense of well-being.
