You are viewing a vintage late sixties marionette puppet from Sicily, Italy depicting a medieval knight. It is in very good condition with no breaks or rips and all original hand painted wood, brass tone metal armor and fabric. Smoke free environment. Please view all the photos for condition...some minor rust from age on the sword (last photo).... Many of these hand crafted marionette puppets were representations of the "Opera of the Puppets" taken from the legendary tales of Europe's king Charlemagne's reign.This one has been cared for through the decades and intact down to the blue green feather and original booklet!
