Cleaning out the attic. ? First time ever offered anywhere for sale (not the first listing - we had listed it last year).? Well preserved paper covered wood and metal banded trunk / steamer. ? All hardware looks to be present. ? No key available - but we may be able to locate one. No guarantees. ? As is. Paper rough condition - but the pattern is discernible. ? Split in wood on bottom. See first photo. (Other dome trunk in background to be listed soon - 1877!) ? Great for restoration project or museum? ? Both handles present. Military? Civil War? (Banded and papered) Stars in tin design - see what look to be the original handles! ? See photographs. ? Approximate measurements: 36" x 19" x 19" ?Patent on hasps: (looks like) PAT. NOV 18 ?? ?
